Small Miracles

In general I am not a big cosmetic freak, I like to keep it simple, especially during the day I think less is more. I have some favorite all-rounder products which are just perfect if you do not have a lot of time and don't want use hundreds of products.

The first two products can be both used for either cheeks or lips. Posie Tint by Benefit is a very light and liquid formula, which adds a hint of pink color to your cheeks and lips. I like it, because it gives the cheeks and lips a very natural and slightly pink glow. If you want a more intense color, just apply a second layer and the intensity of the color will increase.

The same effect has the Lush Flush Lip & Cheek Stain by Sephora, the color is definitely more intense and the texture is more geleé-like than the one from Benefit. I normally apply a very thin layer on my cheeks or lips (evening make-up). It is very easy to apply, lasts very long and the anti-oxidants help protect the skin from free radicals.

Benefit's Girls Meets Pearl is a golden-pink liquid pearl luminizer. The light texture and freshness of the  highlighter is perfect for a sun-kissed glow and radiant complexion. Apply on cheeks or on anything you want to highlight! I love it, especially in summer it makes your skin look healthy with a slightly golden shimmer.

Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream is a cult product since 1930 and the wonderbalm can be used for literally everything. The texture of the apricot colored cream is wax-like and the smell of is a bit medical,  but not bad. It has a healing and protecting effect and can therefore be used for dry hands, nails, lips, elbows and heels. Perfect for cold days to protect the skin from rain and wind. Besides the soothing and hydrating effect, 8 hour cream is a perfect highlighter on cheeks, to make them look shiny and healthy. Furthermore it works as a hair serum to smoothens down frizzy ends. Miracle in a tube!

All these products are perfect for the every day use, day and night, when travelling, or to freshen up on the go.
