Bocca Di Lupo

Bocca Di Lupo - I think I don't have to say a lot as most Londoners know this place in Soho. It is known as one of the best Italian restaurants in London...and deservedly so! Amazing food, great wine list, very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

The menu offers everything from Italian starters, over T-Bone steak to homemade and fresh pasta. It's recommendable to get a few small plates to share (the more you try at Bocca Di Lupo, the better...) They offer small and big portion of almost every dish, which makes it an ideal place to go with some friends and have a lot of simple and delicious Italian delicacies.

Small Miracles

In general I am not a big cosmetic freak, I like to keep it simple, especially during the day I think less is more. I have some favorite all-rounder products which are just perfect if you do not have a lot of time and don't want use hundreds of products.

The first two products can be both used for either cheeks or lips. Posie Tint by Benefit is a very light and liquid formula, which adds a hint of pink color to your cheeks and lips. I like it, because it gives the cheeks and lips a very natural and slightly pink glow. If you want a more intense color, just apply a second layer and the intensity of the color will increase.

Notting Hill - Granger & Co and more

A very nice area in London, where you can find everything from clothes shops, vintage furniture and very good restaurants is Notting Hill. It is a very quite (besides Portobello Road, which is full of tourists at the weekends) peaceful and idyllic area with small colourful houses and beautiful planted streets. I love to go there every now and then, preferentially during the week and just walk a bit around enjoy some food and have a look at some vintage shops. Westbourne Grove is one of my favourite streets, which full of nice cafés (202 London and Granger & co) and fashion shops, as Sienna Miller's shop twenty8twelve or Heidi Klein. In a side street - Ledbury Road - there is Ottolenghi's delicious deli and an other great fashion shop called matchesfashion.com. Here are some of my weekend snapshots

The Fat of the Land

The Fat of the Land is a Spanish restaurant in the heart of Marylebone, which just opened last summer. Especially in summer it is a lovely spot for having lunch, as they have tables outside, where one can enjoy the sun almost all day. I go there quite often to have a 'sunny' coffee or some tapas. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is welcoming. The restaurant/pub has two floors, the pub on the street level has a rustic charm with dark wooden tables and garlic and ham hanging in the windows. The upstairs restaurant is a bright, spacious room with huge windows, brick walls and oversized lamps. The food is specialized in Catalonian cuisine and offers delicious and nicely presented tapas and other Spanish delicacies.
